The Snake River bottoms give us both timber-and-slough duck hunting and harvested field ground for geese within a short drive of each other — useful for groups who want to run a duck hunt and a goose hunt on the same trip.
Access shifts with river level and field harvest timing through the season; we scout ahead of every hunt rather than running a fixed spot regardless of conditions.
