Local water

Open water and a longer season window

C.J. Strike sits further from town than our other water, which means less pressure and birds that hold through more of the season. It's also one of the better spots in the area for diving ducks alongside the usual puddle duck mix.

We run boat-blind and shoreline setups here depending on wind and water level, and it's a strong option later in the season when smaller water starts icing over.

What to know

  • Boat blind and shoreline setups
  • Diving duck water in addition to puddle ducks
  • Holds birds later into the season than smaller water
